📁 Add Category Filtering

For larger catalogs, it may be necessary to filter results by gender or product category.

Keep the filters extremely broad, as the color wheel works best with more products available. The searches are less likely to find a match if the results are filtered down too much.

Where to configure a category filter:

• Visit our App's "Settings" page and scroll to the "Navigation" section

Filter examples:

• Gender (Womens, Mens, Kids)

• Product (Apparel, Accessories, Home Decor)

• Brand (Nike, Adidas, Reebok)

• Material (Paper, Fabric, Leather)

• Orientation (Vertical, Horizontal)

🚨 Notice:

• The category filters will not show up immediately. Please allow up to one hour for our system to import your category filters. Contact [e-mail] if you need help.

🔗 Link to a Preselected Category

Example: In your header, you can add a "Shop by Color" subcollection within your "Womens" collection, and link to the overlay with the "Womens" category filter preselected.

How to:

1. Open your "Shop by Color" overlay and select the category (Example: "Women")

2. Copy the entire URL after /?Infinite...

3. Paste that URL in the hyperlink field

🫥 Hide Products

There are two separate ways to exclude products from the overlay, depending on your personal workflow.

1. Apply the HOPPN_hide product tag in Shopify. You can batch apply this tag to a collection. The tag is not case sensitive.

1. You may wish to hide every product with an already assigned tag. To do this, visit our App's "Settings" page and scroll to the "Advanced" section.
